Today was all about wings...we dressed up in all sorts of wings and we even made ourselves into a paper butterfly with beautiful wings! We keep checking every morning looking for our caterpillars to be all wrapped up into a chrysalis, but not yet! Mother Anita took the children on a walk around the church property today to go along with her Godly Play lesson. We went out doors for recess. For snack we had raisins, pretzels and a choice of a granola bar. We ended the day with a visit from Miss Abby. She brought garden veggies that are growing in our garden for the children to do a taste test. They were all a hit, only the radishes were a challenge. Too spicy was the consensus. We just wanted to make you aware that beets were shared. Beets dye things, so your toilet might be a little pink or red.
