Fun Friday! Our question of the day was "Do you like pizza?" It was a unanimous "Yes!" We enjoyed this sunshiny day outside for recess. Snack was bananas, raisins and crackers. The books we read today were ICE IS NICE and THE 3 SNOW BEARS. We also did a whole group retell of the bear story. The children enjoyed it so much that we told it 2 times! Everyone had a part or parts. You might ask your child what character they were in the story. They may even tell you the story. Children delight in hearing and telling a story repeatedly. This is great for their cognitive development, speech and language development, and creative thinking, not to mention the math elements. We had many laughs and giggles enjoying this activity today. The side for pizza today was mixed cooked veggies. The children counted 5 different vegetables!
