If you could be any fairy tale character what would you be?  That was our question of the day.  The children are beginning to make paper dolls of themselves into a fairy tale character.  These will be displayed at the art show in April along with their very own fairy tale story.  Other morning workshop tables included valentine making for our trip to St. Clare's, and sensory dominoes.  For our letter O, we had Elephant-Os out which  is a fun balancing game.

At morning meeting we had our tweet and greet and then busted a move to our special valentine songs.  Our snack was fresh strawberries, yogurt and grapes.

We read a factual book called At the Post Office in preparation for our field trip tomorrow.  We are very excited to go and mail our special valentines!  EDS is CLOSED tomorrow! Please be prompt for our 10 AM visit as it is a small reception area and our little friends get restless while waiting.  Thank you for your consideration!

We had a big surprise today when Miss Pam came for an unexpected visit! It was her birthday and she wanted to celebrate with all of her EDS friends, so she brought homemade mini cupcakes to share with everybody and we all sang to her!

We had outdoor recess today where we played in our refreshed sandbox, rode bikes, played ball and frisbee.

After lunch we worked on a special gift for our grandparents day visit.  We ended our day outside in the sunshine.
