We had a great day back from our short but sweet Easter break. We started our day at morning meeting by sharing our Easter Bunny stories! We are in the home stretch finishing up our art projects for our Art Show on the evening of April 12 at 5pm. I hope you have all marked your calendars! We went outdoors for recess. Burrrrr where are you spring weather? Our question of the day was "Is it Spring?" It was a trick question for sure because it sure does not feel like spring yet. Our snack was strawberries, cheese sticks and goldfish crackers. Some of us worked together on putting the alphabet puzzle train together. What a fun way to learn letter recognition! We ended the day with several fun "Pete The Cat" stories on tape. You may hear your child singing those snappy tunes that are at the end of those stories.
Painting is more fun together with a buddy.
Great example of process art! Our friends are enjoying our creation station.
Circle time, sharing time. The person holding the bunny is the only one talking.
Snack time.
This is me! I painted it myself!
My ears match!
So do mine!
Spin art!
The paint bowl is just as interesting after spinning as the project piece!
Wow! It is always a surprise. Now that the school has a spinner, we can make spin art anytime we want to! Not just art month!
We have our very own laughing cow....
