Today the children watched some friends arrive by fire truck! Then we explored centers, worked in letter books, observed the new butterflies, created butterfly life cycles, had snack, played outside, had lunch, celebrated a birthday, practiced for graduation and released our butterflies.

10:30-11:30 Meet with Miss Cathy for a behind the scenes library tour.
11:30 Picnic lunch in the park.
12pm Playtime in the park
1pm Walking back to EDS
2pm Normal dismissal at school
Please wear your EDS T-shirt, good walking sneakers and sunscreen. Dress for the weather, we are going rain or shine. Pack a water bottle and a picnic lunch remember NO HEAT-UPS!
Wednesday, May 31st Graduate Field Day in Kings Park
Parents are not required to come.
11:15 Departing EDS
11:30-12 Pizza lunch in Kings park (no need to pack a lunch for your child that day!)
12-1:30 Play on playground, sea life safari on shoreline and popsicles
1:30 Walking back to EDS
2pm Normal Dismissal at school
Please wear your EDS T-shirt, good walking sneakers, sunscreen and a hat!
With the warmer weather (here to stay!) please feel free to wear your EDS t-shirt any day, we consider this part of the uniform! Also don't forget to put on sunscreen before school, send in a hat and water bottle.
