We are busily preparing for the Holiday Fair this Saturday from 9-3. Thank you to everyone who has donated supplies and volunteered to make the crafts and work the table! We truly appreciate your help! Hope to see you at the lasagna dinner on Friday evening.
We are also gearing up for our Thanksgiving Feast on Tuesday. The children will make butter, cornbread, cranberry sauce, squash, mashed potatoes and one turkey. Thank you for donating these supplies. It is so important to teach our children about these foods at this special time of year.
Soon, another Perfect Potluck will come out detailing items we need families to prepare at home for our feast. Thank you all for helping us with this special school tradition.
Today the children wrote about their field trip to Coggeshall Farm, made holiday fair crafts with parents, practiced letter writing with mat man, made a feast table, had morning meeting, talked about cranberries, practiced Thanksgiving songs, had snack (zucchini muffins, yogurt and raisins) had outdoor play, scooped out baked squash, cleaned potatoes and worked on Thanksgiving costumes.
