Today the children explored centers, wrote pumpkin stories, played a bat echolocation game, 3s had chapel with Miss Jordan, 4s retold a festive story with props, then we had morning meeting, talked about Halloween, sang Halloween songs, had snack (Graham crackers, raisins and tomatoes) had outdoor play, had lunch, listened to the story Pumpkin Jack about the life cycle of a pumpkin, and carved our very own face to carve!
Thank you ALL for your dedication to the Clothing Sale! We raised over $300! Because of this success, the cubbies have been ordered hooray! The plan is to have them all set up and ready to go on Monday, that means all moccasins will live permanently in your child's cubby.
Our PUMPKIN PARADE is Thursday from 5:30-7, we are planning to sing our Halloween songs and take group photos at 6pm. If you want to be a part of the songs and photos, please arrive before 6pm. Make sure you wear your costume, we will have cider and popcorn! Please send in your jack-o-lantern by 4pm on Thursday.
