The Art Show is THURSDAY! Due to an overwhelming response, we need to split the night into 2 showings. If your last name is A-J your showing is from 5-6pm. If your last name is L-U your showing is from 6-7. The PAB decided to model this even after an opening at an art gallery so please do not feel obligated to stay the entire time slot, it is more about your child sharing their art with you their family and friends! If your time slot does not work, please contact a family to switch. Check out the Perfect Potluck link that went out this morning to sign up for kid friendly appetizers (fruit sticks, cheese and crackers, chicken nuggets, veggie platters etc.) Contact me with any questions. :)
Today we WELCOMED THE EGGS! Our little embryos have been incubating for 6 days now at 100 degrees! They should hatch in 22days! We introduced the eggs and discussed the incubator, did the countdown and learned about oviparous animals (animals that hatch from eggs) and began our egg science notebooks. Ask your child what hatches from an egg! Does a horse?
We also explored centers, completed art, had morning meeting, played outside, planted and tended the garden, listened to a story about the chicks and made letter X xray prints with our arm bones.
