FRIDAY, EDS CHILI COOK-OFF! Due to a snag with town cook-off we decided to host our very own, we will NOT be at the Hyatt on the 13th! We are combining the traditional ice cream social event with a family chili cook off. People can enter their favorite recipe and bring it along in a crock pot. Families, friends and alumni are welcome to stop in between 4-6pm to sample the different family chili's , hear some valentine music and eat some sweet Valentine treats (we will have an ice cream station!)

Please send in a shoe box to decorate for a Valentine mailbox by Friday. Students will complete their own valentine cards at home and bring them into school to exchange them in the mailboxes. We have 36 students or 18/day. We will exchange Valentine's throughout the week.
Today we explored centers, made spa dough, created valentines, delivered valentine cards into our mailboxes, checked on the worms, fed them some more compost, had chapel on the church alter, had indoor recess due to the wind chill, had morning meeting, sang valentines songs, journaled about worms, sorted hearts and stamped them by size and listened to a story!
