Today we began our day writing some exciting journal entries!  Your child's Journal is always available in our Literacy Center for your viewing pleasure.  We are continuing to work on our clay animal creations and hibernation stories.  We studied the Letter Kk.  There are no curves in a K.  Our question of the day was DO YOU LIKE TO DANCE?  We learned that a little more than half of our friends today do like to dance!  Miss Nancy joined us to help out while Miss Carissa is away.  Miss Nancy shared some fun new songs about winter, and re-enacted the story of THE THREE BILLY GOATS GRUFF.  You could ask your child what part they helped with in the story.  We went outdoors to enjoy this day's beautiful weather.  There is nothing more fun than mud play, so they may need an extra soak!  We closed our day by wishing our new friend well as she awaits the arrival of her new baby sister tomorrow!  Our EDS family is growing, what a glorious thing!  We also offered her Mom some very good baby tips using our fine writing and drawing skills!
