The students: explored centers, compared pumpkin sizes, participated in morning meeting, danced, had outdoor play, retold the 5 Little Pumpkins poem, had Chapel with Miss Jordan, drew body photos for our color book, stamped animals, explored floam and participated in telling Room on the Broom story.
Thank you ALL who participated in the PAB meeting today. I appreciate the flexibility with location and my own timing! It was a huge success, please be on the lookout for the minutes to be emailed and available on the blog later this week.
WALKING FIELD TRIP: October 23rd 11:30
Students who attend EDS on Fridays will be walking to Queen Anne's Square for a pizza picnic and pumpkin picking at Trinity Church.
Parents of students who attend on Fridays are welcome to join us but it is not mandatory. Students who do not having a parent accompany them must send in $10 to cover the cost of a medium pumpkin.
Students who do not normally attend EDS on Friday are welcome to join us for the walk or at the square. Please sign up at the front desk if you plan on participating.

Illness Alert! With children back in school and sports full time, it is the time of year we see a multitude of viruses and other illnesses spreading. We have heard reports of (but not had at school) fevers, hand foot mouth, strep and lice. We constantly sanitize surfaces and toys throughout the day but please be aware of the symptoms that accompany these illnesses. Please refer to the handbook on our sickness policy and keep your child at home if they have any symptoms.
