Good Afternoon,
The students: explored centers, had an exciting visit from Mr. Dave the beekeeper, he taught us about the hive box, his uniform, the honey comb and the bees! We even got to taste fresh honey right out of the comb! We also explored outside, cut and decorated letter M's with moons and marshmallows, made apple prints, wrote about our apple picking field trip, retold Halloween stories and got caught in a rain storm!
Thank you Mr. Dave for a wonderful bee presentation! The honey was delicious- if you are interested in purchasing a jar of fresh local island honey from Mr. Dave ($9) send me an email and we can place a school order- he will deliver the jars to the school!
Join us next Wednesday at 9am for our Parent Advisory Board and later that evening at 6pm for Parent's Night Out @ The Fifth Element!
All Friday students are signed up for join us on the walking Field Trip to Trinity Church Pumpkin Patch Friday, Oct 23rd. If you are not a Friday family, please sign up at the front desk. All families please make your $10 payment for the pumpkin.
Please remember there is NO School Monday! Enjoy your long weekend!
