Hello,
The children had such a wonderful day celebrating their dads! They played outside together, sang songs had pizzas and treat, gave gifts and drew pictures of each other. It was a very special day. Thank you dads for joining us!
The students also baked cookies, painted their graduation t-shirts, explored centers and had a princess dress up party outside.
I can't believe there are only 3 school days left!

-Our graduation dress rehearsal at 1pm. All graduates please attend.
-End of the Year Picnic with the Toe Jam Puppet Band starts at 5pm, please make your donation for this event at the front desk. Don't forget your picnic blanket and side dish!

Mr. Steve will be videoing this event, I am going to try to get it in a format to share on the blog... let me know if you are tech savvy and interested in helping with this task!
CALLING ALL RETURNING PARENTS!
We are looking for individuals to join our Parent Advisory Board. We will hold our first meeting in August and then regularly each month. Please email me if you are interested. One parent will be asked to serve as the parent representative in charge of the advisory board. Two parents from the advisory board will be asked to also serve on the school committee. Thank you in advance for your commitment to EDS!
Emmanuel Church and EDS presents.... the Emmanuel Angel Choir! An early childhood music program from student ages 4-7. This program will be led by Waylon Whitley and is modeled after a very popular children's music program in the area. It will take place at Emmanuel every Thursday from 3:30-4pm. It is open to EDS students, alumni and any child in the community. To learn more information about this program email me at edsdirector@emmanuelnewport.org.
