As we gear up for the very busy holiday season I wanted to take a moment to post some upcoming events and reminders.

Book Orders:
Scholastic books make great Christmas gifts and earn our school free books. Please place your order online as soon as possible so I can ensure they arrive before our break. Follow this link to place your order https://clubs2.scholastic.com/ Please see the book clubs page for our school code.

Holiday Fundraiser:

RI Audubon Society Events: All sales from the JMcLaughlin Event will sponsor two Audubon Presentations at EDS. The first presentation will be held December 10th at 10am. The presentation will be based on favorite holiday story-"The Mitten" by Jan Brett. This story ties into our December science study of artic animals. The RI Audubon Society will return in January with live Owls to talk about this special winter bird.

EDS Wish List: This year Emmanuel Day School is asking for donations of gently used items to enhance our indoor and outdoor recess space and some of our favorite center time collections. Find our wish list on the right hand side of this post. We sincerely appreciate all of your donations!



Christmas Pageant: Our annual Christmas Pageant is December 19th in Emmanuel Church. We will be assigning parts this week and practicing throughout the month! Please mark your calendar for our pajama dress rehearsal on December 18th, we hope all students will attend.


**Emmanuel Day School Parent Coffee Hour** January, TBD. You are invited to join us afterschool to discuss our current program and to share your ideas for the future of our program.
