We love the great jack-o-lanterns that are coming in!
The EDS Pumpkin Parade is tomorrow night from 6:30-7pm. Everyone is invited, so bring your friends and family to see all of the jack-o-lanterns lit up throughout the school yard! Children are encouraged to wear their costumes. This event is rain or shine, if it rains, we will set the pumpkins up around the school. Refreshments will be served in the Emmanuel Library. We are so excited to see everything lit up!
EDS Halloween Show is on Halloween, Friday, October 31st from 1:30-2pm. Students are working hard to make their own special costumes for the show. Please do not wear your costume from home on Halloween. It will be a normal uniform day.
Field Trip Alert!
This week you received a new field trip permission slip to go to Coggeshall Farm for Breakfast in the Barnyard on November 5th. Coggeshall Farm is located in Bristol RI. We will be meeting there at 9:00 am. We are looking forward to being on a farm and seeing the animals. Please note that the cost of this trip is $7.50 per person.
The Students: worked on their Halloween costumes, explored centers, participated in morning meeting, played outside, had chapel with Mother Anita, listened to a witch story, traced, cut and decorated a letter S with spiders, created salt dough ghosts and participated in a sink or float pumpkin science experiment.
Thank you for all you do!
:) Miss Carissa
